Baby Sunday: 15 weeks

It'd hard to believe that I'm almost to the half way point. Time flies.

Obsessions/Rampages: Not much going on in this department. I spent a good portion of my day on Friday looking at girl blessing outfits just in case the peanut turns out to be one. I also ventured into the baby department at HomeGoods the other day, and I must say everything is sooo much cuter when it's mini! Oh and a slight annoyance I had today was at church. I don't know if it's me just being extra sensitive but I find nothing more annoying/demeaning when someone of your own age or slighlty older calls me sweetie or hun. That bugged me for about a minute but now I'm over it. Obsession- SMELL! I CAN SMELL EVERYTHING! Matt has to keep a pack of gum with him at all times or I barf if I smell normal human breath. Poor guy. I had a sensitive nose to begin with but this is unbelieveable. I can barely open the fridge before I'm overcome with nausea. Well that was way more than I thought I was going to write, next topic.

Elations/Worries: It's getting harder and harder to suck in so I'm elated to announce that next week I will post a belly shot. :) Worries - Oh just the fact that I can feel my stomach muscles ripping, no biggie. After I eat or laugh a bunch I get tugging pains around my belly button. I asked my doctor about it and she said it's my ligaments stretching. Um, excuse me? I've come to terms that I will NEVER have the same stomach again, but that's ok it'll be worth it once I get to see this little bundle. AH I CAN'T WAIT! Oh and can we talk about the sudden growth of hair on my stomach, sick! I've read about this happening but I didn't think I was going to look like Harry from Harry and the Henderson's. Matt says he can't even tell, but I think I can. Oh well.

Aversions/Cravings: Pretty much the same as last week except this time I've added curly fries to the mix. yummy yummy to my tummy. Come to think of it that is probably the only greasy thing I can handle at the moment. Still can't get enough fruit, and I'm always hungry. Matt always says, "You're hungry again?! Where are you putting it?!" I'm thinking of warming up to the idea of fish this week, we'll see how that goes. Can't get enought water, I feel like a fish.

Matt and I went to our Ward's Vday dance on Friday. It was a lot of fun. We learned how to cha cha. The instructor's were impressed with our dance moves, I think we should be on Dancing with Stars. However, Matt went to dip me and I leaned back and my stomach DID NOT like that. I think I pulled a muscle of something. Plus I had to take a break like every 15 mins, so maybe we aren't ready for our television debut yet. We put up all our new book shelves and Ikea stuff, and next month we are going to buy some cute club chairs. I'll post pics when all is done. Matt has been playing football and ultimate frisbee twice a week and comes home sore and dripping with sweat. I'm glad he's found something to keep him active, although I can't stand the smell of him until he takes a shower. We're slowly making friends in our ward and we are very grateful that we got to move here. That's about all, have a happy Sabbath!

I totally remember the gum thing with the breath. Jon and I didn't kiss for months because it would make me gag. Yikes. I love all of your updates, you are so clever and thoughtful. What a great "journal" you are keeping for the little one!
